Avio Leadership

Morgan Evans
Founder

Morgan brings a deep knowledge of the MedTech industry, having worked in a variety of functions such as engineering, clinical, sales, corporate development, and general management at both start-ups and Fortune 100 companies, including Medtronic.

​

As a serial entrepreneur, she launched Avio Medtech Consulting to provide the expertise and services she needed to build and sustain her own start-ups.

​

She holds an undergraduate degree in biomechanical engineering from Stanford University and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management.

Director of Quality

George Stradtman

George is an experienced quality professional, with 20 years of experience across a wide variety of medical devices, diagnostics, single use systems, biomanufacturing, and managing an analytical laboratory.   George graduated with a BS/MS in Bioscience/Biotechnology from Drexel University, with a research focus on Neuroscience.  He is passionate about helping bring innovative devices to market, and solving complex problems while complying with complex and changing global regulations.

Director of Regulatory

Matthieu Kirkland

Matthieu is an experienced pre-market regulatory professional. Matthieu graduated with a BS/MS in Biomedical Engineering/Medical Device Development from the University of Southern California with emphasis in Electrical Engineering and Regulatory Affairs. Matthieu got his start in Regulatory Affairs working in continuous monitoring solutions with a team spinning off from CalTech. He has since worked at GE Healthcare in their Quality and Regulatory Leadership Program; and with a small team of ex-FDA professionals in a small consulting startup acquired by RQM+. Matthieu is passionate about working collaboratively with the FDA and ensuring clients have a robust and positive relationship with the Agency. Ultimately, his goal is ensuring patients have timely access to safe and effective medical devices.

Project Manager/Project Engineer - Team Lead

Maggie Scheuermann 

Maggie, an accomplished professional in biomedical engineering, holds both a Bachelor's and Master's degree in the field. Specializing in the development of medical devices, Maggie brings a wealth of experience as a project manager consultant across the spectrum of medical devices, from Class 1 to Class 3. She has managed projects through all four stages of the development process —from conceptualization and design to manufacturing and post-market surveillance. Her experience focuses on engagements with start-ups to mid-size enterprises. This diversity in experience has equipped Maggie with a unique perspective and the ability to tailor solutions to meet the specific needs and challenges faced by companies of varying sizes and device types.

Sr. Engineering Program Manager

Becky Nelson 

Becky takes a holistic approach to product
development efforts. She holds a
bachelor’s degree in mechanical
engineering from the University of
Minnesota, and is a part-time MBA
candidate at the Carlson School of
Management. She is a curious problem-
solver who seeks to understand first to
drive meaningful product development.
Becky has worked on 25+ unique
medical devices and brings both
breadth and depth of experience to
new projects.
