Avio Leadership
Morgan Evans
Executive Director
Morgan brings a deep knowledge of the MedTech industry, having worked in a variety of functions such as engineering, clinical, sales, corporate development, and general management at both start-ups and Fortune 100 companies, including Medtronic.
As a serial entrepreneur, she launched Avio Medtech Consulting to provide the expertise and services she needed to build and sustain her own start-ups.
She holds an undergraduate degree in biomechanical engineering from Stanford University and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management.

Prem Padhye
Managing Director
Prem is a respected business leader with new business ventures experience in both startups and Fortune 100 organizations, including Medtronic, GE Healthcare, Boston Scientific and General Mills. His background in medical devices includes leadership roles in Strategy, Commercial Operations, and Clinical Sales.
Prem has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a MBA from the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management.

Director of Human Resources
Karen Phang
Karen is an experienced, strategic business oriented Human Resources leader. With over 20 years of experience spanning startup and Fortune 100 MedTech companies, including Danaher, Smiths Medical, Medtronic, Atricure, AGA Medical (now Abbott), St. Jude Medical (now Abbott). At Avio, Karen partners with business leaders to define and implement pragmatic talent acquisition, engagement and retention strategies that drive results and facilitate scalable growth.

Director of Quality
Rebecca Welty
Rebecca is an experienced and resourceful Quality Assurance Director with a B.S in Biochemistry and Biophysics from the University of Houston. She has extensive experience working in Quality Assurance and Regulatory Compliance at both large and small Class II/III medical device companies, including Alcon, LivaNova, and Guidant. At Avio, Rebecca leads all aspects of quality assurance for our clients.

Director of Regulatory
Tyler Ting
Tyler is a collaborative partner in Regulatory Affairs premarket planning and execution. He holds a Masters degree in International Regulatory Affairs and the RAC-Devices certification. Tyler has broad medical device experience including software as a medical device, implantables, and in-vitro diagnostics with Medtronic, Stryker, and Terumo.

Research & Development PM
Ryan Kruchten
Ryan is an intellectually curious problem solver with a bachelor's of Biomedical Engineering from the University of Minnesota. Ryan has been heavily involved in the startup Medtech space throughout his collegiate and professional careers, primarily working with Class II cardiac and cryo systems
